Weekend and Today

This weekend was wonderful! We had the great opportunity to go to my husbands grandma's house. It was so nice to be around family! They live in a beautiful small city since forever, so they know everyone around. And their cooking? Oh my! Wonderful!! There was no internet there, so I have to admit that that made it even better to enjoy the time there without any distractions! :)

Feb. 6th: Makes me smile
 I thought of many things that makes me smile and I wanted to be original. But at the end of the day I realized that what really makes me smile are these two! How lucky am I to have them in my live! I love to see them together, it for sure makes me smile!

Feb. 7th: Oma

 The challenge for this day was actually "stripes" but I really wanted to post this wonderful women. Probably the highlight of the trip was being able to sit and listen to her stories. So much has happened in 80 years already and all she needed was someone to listen. After 25 years without her husband, she still wears her wedding ring. Sweet in her own shy way, she is a great example of love and strength.

Feb. 8th: What's in my bag

 Well...being a mom, I had to make sure we where going to survive 5 hours in the car with Camila. So my bag had so much food, toys, books, drinks, that it was actually pretty amazing that all could fit. But the winner is always going to be the raisins! I don't know why, but Camila loves raisins and it has been our best trick to keep her entertained for a little bit. 

Feb. 9th: Energy

 I went around today wondering what would I do for energy. It was such a warm day back in Asuncion that I really had NO energy. But, someone woke up from her nap with SO MUCH energy! I'm not kidding, she was all over! So, she won and the energy picture really had to go to her today.
