The Tree With Yellow Flowers
At the beginning of our move here to Paraguay, it was hard for me to adjust at first. I not only moved countries but also became a stay home mom, which ended up being a lot more challenging than I thought (that explains why I ended up stoping the challenge :/)
When we moved in to our house, on our backyard there was a very pretty tree that at that time was blooming so much. I loved to look at all those yellow flowers and they always made me happier, specially on hard days. With time, I stared to get more and more adjust to my new life and the flowers from the tree started to fall.
Now, we are moving from this house and it's such a bittersweet feeling. I learned to love the area we lived in. While packing I looked at the backyard and saw the tree again, blooming like it was when we moved. A nostalgic feeling came followed by a sadness from leaving that place.
Going to the new house, there's no tree in the backyard, cause there's barely a backyard. Tired of all the stress of moving AND with two kids I go to my room. While thinking if we made a good decision I look at my window and to my surprise I see the same tree on my neighbors backyard! And there they were, the same yellow flowers blooming so bright to remind me that everything will work out in this house, just like it did before.
